A comprehensive omni directional robot having omni directional vision, motion and kicking system

We have developed a software system to fully utilize the hardware abilities . This section consist of desecration about some software projects that related to our middle size soccer robot .
 

 - Artificial Intelligence Algorithm .
 - Image Processing & Image Understanding .
   Vision system of the robot consists of omni-directional mirror and IEEE1394 digital
camera . Data transmission from camera to notebook PC is in YUV format. We obtain the distances and angles to the ball, goals, poles and obstacles from this view.

 - Environment Sensing .
 - Behavior Engine & Role Engine .
  The necessary roles are determined by a central decision making machine residing on the server. The game state is extracted as a function of ball position, ball ownership and main strategy.
- Self localization Using Omni-vision and Using Odometry .
 ADRO robots have omni directional camera which can watch both goals without      turning back by omni directional camera. Therefore, the robot calculates self- position by sensing position of tow goals .
